Hi there we have been doing the SLJ and we have been doing about our different cultures between our mums side or dad's side and we did what we like and what animals we have at home. I have been working with Emma H, and Capri P and its been fun doing it with them. By Tahlia  

SLJ with Takutai

 

Hey today we have been doing stuff with takutai, we have signed up to SLJ and we watched a video and it was about how they used to know where they were going when they went overseas in a boat. And Miss Farr said what 10 things would you eat while on a boat of 3 weeks. It was fun because we could pick whatever we want to eat. By Tahlia 

Diwali Diya

 

Hi guys welcome to my blog we have been doing Diwali for our Christmas concert and we have made diyas because diyas are like Diwali things they are a candle and the Diwali is about lights and colour. The fun bit was to paint it and  to make the actaul clay we made them we did a design adn then when it was dry we painted it and done but I have no clue how I got a drop of black on my work.

Diwali

 

Hi there today I have read a Diwali story and we had to recap what happened in the story. So there was this lady named Tiffany she likes to make flags and these flags had a meaning about they want to happen or what they would like to happen but there was this one eight-year-old girl and Tifanny thought they she would say what she want to be when she grows up but then she said something like I want my family to be happy and that hit Tiffany very hard but here. My favorite part of the story was probably listening that the little girl would rather get happiness with their family than want a fun and good career. 

Diwali and my Rangoli pattern

 

Hi this term we have been focusing on Diwali because we are doing this Christmas show around about at the end of the year so we have been learning a lot about Diwali right here is a rangoli pattern. When it's Diwali people have these in front of there door and its made out of coloured sand it is like a welcome thing right outside of the door. I enjoyed doing this because its like we are doing art but it was very hard to draw it but it was really fun and challenging at the same time. 

Diwali and Matariki

 

Hi I'm Tahlia and today I'm just putting this on my blog because I didn't have time to put it on my blog yesterday well I did this and I learnt so much more about Diwali and Matariki. And Diwali is a celebration celebrated in India where millions of people celebrate it. And Matariki is the Maori new year and it is when people stay up late to look at the stars of the seven sisters. Hi, there today I have done another poem called Quatrains these are the gangster Quatrains I liked to do funny ones and stuff. My favourite part of doing this was probably doing one about my dog named Jake he's one of my pets he's a dog and he loves to cuddle me and I love to cuddle him. Hi there today we have been doing poems last week and this week today we did limericks and my limericks are about my pig well kinda and one of my bffs. This has been fun because one of my friends in my class Ella go check her blog she did one that kinda goes with my one about pigs.

Hi there I'm Tahlia and today I'm going tobe showing you my art that Ive been doing for a couple of days its been very easy because I just got a photo of myself and then glued it on my calender art and then I drow a speech bubble then got some colour then put some black paper on it then write 2022 and Tahlia then done.

Paralympics 2020

 

Hi there today I'm going to show stuff you might know or not already well I liked doing this because I could learn a lot of things to do with Paralympics I liked it kinda but it was very hard to do it was harder than doing my Olympics. And Paralympics aren't the same thing as Olympics because if you want to get into the Paralympics you have to have a disability.  

Logos

 

Hi I'm going to be showing you what I did today and why I think my logos are very cool well I know they are cool but you should check my stuff out because it was really fun making my own and my classes logo and I would say we should make it the actual logo for whenua the class because the logo is that cool.

Epitaph Poetry

 Here he lies Jerry da berry likes to eat berries he is very happy with his berries. But then he ate a random poison berry and he went a bit crazy and died.

Here she lies Tiara she had a sister named Zara she liked to cuddle Zara. But then Zara cuddled way to hard and now you can find her in the ground.

Here he lies Larry da cat lover he loved his cat was named Barry. But then Larry rapped in a mat and then he suffocated because the cat did it and sat on him

Hi Im Tahlia and today Im going to be telling you what my dog and pig is in a acrostic poem because I just wanted to do my dog and pig because why not he's very cute nice cool and very stinky and funny and just a great dog and great pig. This was fun because I get do talk about my dog and pig and love my dog and pig you know.

 

Tahlias back to school

 

Hi, I'm Tahlia, and today I going to be telling you my back-to-school thing that Miss Farr put together for us I would say it is quite a good thing she made so great job, Miss Farr. This is about what we liked about the lockdown and what we missed about school. The best part of doing this was thinking about what I liked about lockdown well I couldn't see my friends so it was quite boring but I was on meet with my friends and I didn't find this challenging I hope you have a great day see ya until next time.

Hi, I`m Tahlia, and today I'm going to be telling you what do you meme it is a thing that my teacher put for us kids. So Miss Farr puts a photo and then you tell us why you make the face and what happened there are a few slides there. My favorite part of doing this was probably thinking about it and laughing this was a very easy thing to do I hope you like it have a great day. 

Quiz DLO

 

Hey, guys, I'm Tahlia, and today I'm going to be showing the work that I did. It is about why China not allowed over 3 kids but it was 1 kid poilcy then 2 kid policy know its 3 kids but I still think they should just not have one because its the parents choice it should not be up to the Prime Minister to have to choice but its quite smart because there is a big population in china so they are trying to put it down and most families can't afford that much stuff for there kids and there needs and the parent's needs. My favorite part of doing this was probably getting the pictures and researching about it and the quiz. 

Boy on a bike

 

Hi, I`m Tahlia, and today I going to be showing you some of the work that I did today. My teacher Miss Farr told our class to read a book named boy on a bike so I did and we had to a sheet on our Chromebook so we were basically telling you the story but you not reading so here. My favorite part of doing this was reading the book hope you like the blog post hope you had a great day.

Hi I'm Tahlia and today I'm showing you the work of the week in our class and the word it obligation its a rather fantastic word but Miss Farr my teacher just thought that word was very cool. I hope you enjoy my blog post and my favorite part about doing this was probably finding the picture so I could understand the word a bit better.

Ghost cities

 

Hi I'm Tahlia and today I'm going to be telling you about Ghost cites the city I'm doing is called the Pripyat. I and my friend Jayden have been working on this for quite a while I did finish this yesterday and I want to share this with you I hope you like the photos and facts about Pripyat. My favorite part about this is probably just working with my friend and not needing to do it all myself. 

What I learnt this week in maths

 

This week we have been working on maths I don't find maths that fun because I don't know I just like writing more but maths this week, was quite fun because I actually got how to do it and Miss Farr helped me out. The most favorite part of doing this probably finding out how to do to it because it was very easy.
